* COCOA *
Cocoa is my new PBFD rescue.
He comes here with open arms and much love.
He has brought me to tears, the first time since Manau, his total dissolusion and trust in me.
Follow us down his path of destiny, another unfortunate Cockatoo with this deadly disease.
All the more reason to help with scientific research.
Cracking a peanut in shell.
What a great toy to play with on his first day here.
Play centre.  Cocoa with the ladder on top of the cages and Peggy on the other end.

He presents with a terrible beak dystrophy.  Note the pure blackness of the beak, typical of PBFD,  it is brittle and breaks easily.  The bottom having chipped.
The vets comment ..."A nasty hard beak"
Use of a dremel on Cocoa is not possible.
